      Overall Job Purpose

      • To ensure full accountability for all items under his/her responsibility and maintain highest standard of housekeeping and safety by adhering to Company Safety Rules, Standards and Policy.
      • To provide excellent service to end users.

      Specific Job Responsibility

      • Sales to staff, other FQM Companies and Contractors – Process all sales to TRI saff, other FQM Companies, as well as to contractors in pronto after ensuring that the sale is duly approved.
      • Raising and issuing of item quotations in pronto.
      • Reviewing of daily sales report
      • Preparing and sending outstanding sales orders report to end-users for review.
      • Making legal entries on matters of health and Safety in the Mining Regulation Log Book (requires legal appointment).
      • Dispatching and processing of pickslips in pronto
      • Cancels pickslips in pronto
      • Raise pickslips in pronto
      • Carrying out stocktakes and bin maintenance
      • Files pickslips and putaway reports
      • Carries out regular housekeeping (Clean As You Go) to maintain a safe work environment
      • Operates forklifts and other warehouse materials handling equipment equipment.
      • Picks and and issues items
      • Investigates stock discrepancies and stock queries to determine the cause and solution to the problems.
      • Checks and inspects received items for conformance to Specification, Quantity & Quality before binning.
      • Rejection and acceptance of items with regards to quality and conformance to specification
      • Raise gate passes for outbound materials after physical verification.
      • Works/liaises cross-functionally with other sections such as Accounts, procurement and the Receiving sections, Logistics and end-users.
      • Expedites items that are about to run out of stock to ensure speedy replenishment.
      • Updates locations for newly stocked items and items with changed locations.

      Experience required to perform in this job

      • Proficiency in Microsoft office i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point
      • Knowledge of basic health and safety.
      • At least 2 years’ experience in similar position

      Qualifications

      • Grade 12 Certificate. CIPS Level 4 or equivalent (minimum).
      • Certificate or better in Microsoft office applications i.e. Excel, Word and Power Point Z.I.P.S Valid Membership
