HIRING FOR COMMERCIAL PLUMBER IN HANOVER, PA
Job Title - Plumber
Location- Hanover, PA
Pay Scale - $22hr-$32hr
Hours: Monday - Thursday - 4 10hour days.
Benefits - Full package including Medical, Dental, Vision 401k match, PTO, sick days, vacation
Additional details - available to start work ASAP. All the work will take place in the Hanover area.
Job Description:
Candidates will be responsible to assemble, install and repair pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes. Plumbers will be studying plans and drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations. Inspect structure to ascertain obstruction to be avoided to prevents weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe. Another job function includes locating and marking position of pipe and pipe connections.
- commercial / industrial work - wastewater, storm drains, and underground utility for manufacturing plants, hospitals, or heavy commercial work
- rough-in to finished work
- layout, cut, assemble, and install piping systems (find out what individuals can do on their own)
- install and work with black pipe, copper & Victaulic grooved piping for the majority of work along with cast iron
- ability to read and interpret blueprints (or be able to just take good direction is okay too)
- install valves, fittings, drainage systems, and various other fixtures
- prep and clean work sites
- work independently and with the team
- must have go-getter attitude along with team work
- quality of work is very important
- comfortable working from heights
- must have own hand and power tools along with reliable transportation
