What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate origin and cause of claims by contacting relevant parties
- Handle both 1st party and 3rd party claims under multiple policy types
- Conduct on-site inspections, evaluate damages, and negotiate claims
- Interpret and determine policies, leases, and contract coverages
- Provide status updates, answer customer questions, and close files
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-focused service
- Experience handling 1st and 3rd party, multi-line claims
- Solid understanding of casualty coverages and claim handling process
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- State-specific property casualty claims licensing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of property claims experience, ideally commercial
- Xactimate and Guidewire experience
