- Req#: JP-005307317
- Fabricate, form, and install various sheet metal components including edge metal, coping, fascia, gutters, downspouts, and flashings.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, specifications, and roof plans.
- Operate brakes, shears, hand tools, and power tools to cut and shape metal.
- Ensure proper fastening, sealing, and alignment of metal components per job requirements.
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems including flat roofs, metal roofs, and shingles.
- Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues or areas needing repair.
- Utilize metal stud framing techniques when required for structural support.
- Engage in remodeling projects that involve roofing elements.
- Execute concrete forming tasks as necessary for roof foundations or supports.
- Familiarity with metal stud framing techniques is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
Job Description
In this role, you will focus primarily on sheet metal work for commercial properties. You will ensure the installation, maintenance, and repair of roofs adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities include layout, fabrication, and installation of metal edge systems, coping caps, gutters, downspouts, and custom flashings. While your expertise will be centered around sheet metal, you may also be required to assist with general roofing tasks as needed.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
