      Do you want to provide effective commercial management and advice so that business plans may be achieved, and commercial risks are minimised?

      As Senior Commercial Manager you are required to provide effective commercial, contract and supplier management for clients within the designated sector, in accordance with Sopra Steria business controls. The role will impact upon Internal and External stakeholders operating across a portfolio of clients. You will be a driven and charismatic individual, with a keen eye of detail and an ability to operate across a wide array of stakeholder. An individual that relishes the prospect of adding value, whilst upholding the values of the business.

      The ability to work in a hybrid variable way of working, with the flexibility to be accesible to client site and Sopra Steria Offices, will be advantageous.

      What you will be doing:

      • Provide effective commercial, contract and supplier management for client in accordance with Sopra Steria business controls.
      • Develop relationships with client teams by attending client governance meetings, ensuring issues and disputes are resolved promptly.
      • Operate commercial frameworks and assure the bid responses in order that business targets can be met.
      • Manage procurement and negotiation of supply contracts directly linked to client contracts, working in conjunction with central purchasing.
      • Assure that delivery performance and contract compliance are in accordance with commercial plans.
      • Assure the accuracy and effectiveness of account specific financial control processes including financial monitoring, forecasting, billing and cost control against contractual and commercial plan requirements.
      • Act as the point of escalation within a specified perimeter for resolving delays in payment of invoices by clients.
      • Identify opportunities for profit improvement and potential commercial or contractual risks, implementing mitigating actions to improve profit and minimize exposure to loss, disputes, and claims.
      • Support the promotion of commercial awareness within the Account.
      • Provide advice on commercial and contractual matters to colleagues within a specified field.
      • Provide regular reports to the Commercial Directors for the Sector and Customer Account Teams on the commercial health of the assigned area.
      • Contribute to the development of best practice commercial management, business rules, processes and controls
