What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Calculate, adjust, and process sales commissions for thousands of agents
- Maintain commission database, ensuring accurate and timely payment of commissions
- Perform detailed audits of commission statements in accordance with requirements
- Research and reconcile discrepancies related to commission disputes
- Explain commission calculations and assist with inquiries regarding payouts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent analytical experience
- Experience with sales compensation calculations and reporting
- High attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Access skills; experience with database tools and SQL queries is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in the insurance industry
- Familiarity with Varicent Incentive Compensation Tools or similar compensation tools
- High emotional IQ, adaptability, and flexibility to manage deadline pressure
- Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
