What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage a team of commissioning engineers and technicians on mechanical and electrical equipment commissioning
- Oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and integration to ensure efficient plant startup and handover
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety departments to execute commissioning activities
- Develop and enforce commissioning protocols and procedures to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities and equipment performance for continuous improvement
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in mechanical commissioning within the power generation sector
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of power plant equipment and commissioning processes
- Proven proficiency in commissioning methodologies, troubleshooting, and system integration
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong leadership capability
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with both greenfield and brownfield commissioning projects
- Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices related to power plant operations
- Ability to cultivate a culture of excellence and ongoing learning within teams
