      Join our global commodities team as an analyst, reporting to the head of Global Commodities Research.

      J.P. Morgan is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to join our Commodities Oil Research Team. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced analysts, contributing to in-depth research and analysis of the global oil market. The ideal candidate will have a passion for commodities, strong analytical skills, and a desire to grow within the industry.

      Job responsibilities:

      • Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data related to the oil market.
      • Support the team in preparing research reports, presentations, and market updates.
      • Monitor and track key market indicators, trends, and developments.
      • Collaborate with senior analysts to develop forecasts and strategic insights.
      • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of databases and analytical tools.
      • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on market dynamics.

      Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
      • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
      • Interest in the commodities market, particularly oil and gas.
      • Prior internship or experience in commodities or financial analysis is a plus.
