Key member of an end-to-end marketing team that drives the brand and acquisition activities for one of Australia’s leading share trading brands
Define and lead the overarching content strategy and delivery aligned with CommSec business goals and customer needs
Broad exposure to both CommSec and CommBank teams and stakeholders
Support the creation of the marketing strategies for CommSec to best drive awareness, acquisition and engagement for key segments and products
Drive the management, execution, delivery and post campaign reporting for BAU and large scale go to market marketing initiatives
Define and lead the overarching content strategy aligned with CommSec business goals and be the primary point of contact for integration into Commonwealth Bank financial content and education strategies
Develop compelling and engaging content across various channels including web, social, email and media partnerships.
Leveraging consumer and market insights to deliver audience led initiatives that engage and inform.
Explore and activate acquisition and content opportunities across the Commonwealth Bank customer base
Influence core partners via membership in cross functional agile teams who will execute go-to-market plans and customer communications strategies to meet business and customer objectives
Uphold brand voice and messaging consistency across all customer and communication channels
Monitor and analyse performance of initiatives providing insights for tracking to key business objectives and results, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Experienced with end-to-end, integrated campaign delivery with a particular focus on content strategy, production and execution.
Foundational understanding of best content practices across multiple through the line channels
Highly developed project management, analytical and strong verbal and written communication skills
Insight driven with ability to use data to inform decision making and rationalize marketing priorities
Commercial acumen and ability to track, optimize and demonstrate ROI/ROMI from campaign metrics
Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to create positive outcomes with a can-do attitude.
Creative thinker with problem-solving/growth mindset
Financial services background and understanding of share market investing preferred
This is a part-time fixed term opportunity until March 2025 to work 3 days a week.
Do work that matters
The Marketing Manager role delivers on CommSec’ s business priorities & strategy and contributes to shared investing priorities across Retail Banking and CommSec. You will support the build of marketing propositions and strategies that are relevant and differentiated for Share Investing customer segments. In this capacity, you will have a particular interest in, and focus on, the role of content in driving brand consideration and engagement. You will act as a conduit across the broader marketing team and investing business to ensure plans and campaigns are aligned and connected.

Consumer Marketing is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Marketing and Corporate Affairs function at CBA. Our team directly supports the Retail Bank and CommSec leadership teams to deliver towards both the Retail Bank & CommSec priorities through either persistent membership of business teams or through a ‘flow to work’ model.
