What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist the Media Designer in designing, laying out, and formatting materials using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Collaborate on the development of creative written and visual content for social media and the department's website
- Provide backup support to the Media Designer as needed
- Perform administrative tasks such as mail sorting, photocopying, and hanging posters on campus
- Run errands for department staff and faculty as required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with technology
- Effective customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Interest in graphic design, communications, marketing, or media studies
- Familiarity with design, editing, and layout software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with social media platforms and current social media trends
- Willingness to learn WordPress and work within brand guidelines
