The University’s faculties and interdisciplinary centres focus on research in the areas of Computer Science and ICT Security, Materials Science, European and International Law, Finance and Financial Innovation, Education, Contemporary and Digital History.       The Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance offers three Bachelor programmes, four Master programmes of Management and Economics and six Masters of Laws (LL.M.), as well as several continuing education courses. It also includes the Doctoral School in Law and the Doctoral School in Economics and Finance. Around 2,500 students from 90 different nationalities are enrolled at the Faculty. Academic staff from 18 different nationalities teach at the Faculty, supported by practitioners from the field, visiting scholars and guest professors. Rooted in Luxembourg but with a European and international outlook, the Faculty counts three departments:

      • Department of Law
      • Department of Economics and Management (DEM)
      • Department of Finance

      Your Role...

      Draft, conceive, and execute communication activities for the Faculty of Law Economics and Finance, with a special focus on internal, students and alumni communication.

      • Draft and send internal information on behalf of management, updating faculty pages on intranet, advising Dean and Vice-Dean on internal and external communication and proposing drafts
      • Communicate about newcomers in the faculty
      • Support in writing and review of high-quality content for internal dissemination (news outlets, newsletters…) and adapted to different target audiences on print and online channels
      • Design, maintain and update different intranet webpages using content management systems, including Wordpress and Sharepoint
      • Develop communication about and for students
      • Develop alumni communications and produce employability reports
      • Physical presence at job fairs and Uni-organised events, coordination with other departments when necessary (including Saturday work about 5x / year and occasional travel)
      • Contribute to the preparation of the budget as it relates to the role and associated activities
      • Maintain communication databases. Conduct regular qualitative and quantitative analysis of communication activities to benchmark and further process improvements


      Qualifications...

      • Bachelor degree with a specialisation in communication
      • At least 2 years of experience relevant working experience
      • Ability to adapt to new situations, develop and implement creative solutions in a complex, multicultural and multi-stakeholder environment
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at several levels
      • Good administration and organisational skills, with an eye for details
      • Master standard Microsoft Office applications and experience in using content management systems to build websites. Experience with Mailchimp or Sendinblue platforms as well as Indesign is a plus
      • Fluency in English. Autonomous in French. German will be considered as an asset
