      Who we’re looking for

      Toyota’s HR Communications Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Internal Communications Analyst to support the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Missouri (TMMMO) Human Resources team. While primarily responsible for TMMMO communications, this team member will also support Toyota Motor Manufacturing Tennessee (TMMTN).

      The primary responsibility of this role is to create, edit and deliver internal communications, aligning with both the HR Communications strategy and business partners for internal communications.

      Reporting to the Manager, Manufacturing Regional Communications, the person in this role will support HR as we work to develop and deliver clear, comprehensive, and effective communications in support of internal HR programs and initiatives with a primary focus on employee engagement.

      This position will be based at our manufacturing facility in Troy, Missouri. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location. This position is a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work. Speak with your Recruiter and the Hiring Manager to learn more about our hybrid work program.

      What you’ll be doing

      • Developing and delivering communication campaigns that market TMMMO and TMMTN internally -- informing and inspiring Toyota team members about the future of mobility at Toyota.

      • Creating memorable & compelling communications material to be distributed across the TMMMO and TMMTN internal channels, which include an employee communications app, digital signage, leadership key messages, presentations, and more.

      • Leveraging the most appropriate internal communication tools that can create the best possible user experience.

      • Partnering with HR peers to develop, execute, and market engagement events that will educate, engage, excite, and celebrate Toyota team members.

      • Collaborating closely with the Manager, Manufacturing Regional Communications, the regional communications team, and other key stakeholders on intent, approach, and delivery of communications.

      • Helping to manage and maintain the internal Communications calendar, and partner with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.

      • Helping to promote a culture of excellence by ensuring stakeholders adhere to standards and processes, and that timeliness and quality are applied to all communications.

      What you bring

      • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Human Resources, Public Relations or Marketing, or 5+ years of equivalent and relevant professional work experience.

      • Excellent written and oral communication skills (a writing test will be administered).

      • Experience with online publishing.

      • Experience shooting, editing, and distributing video for digital publication.

      • A passion for recognizing trends in digital communications.

      • Ability to influence key stakeholders with enhancement recommendations.

      • Experience collaborating and effectively communicating with all levels of team members, management, and executives.

      • Experience building and implementing communication strategies with both digital and in-person delivery methods.

      • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

      Added bonus if you have

      • Experience with Adobe products (Illustrator, Photoshop).

      • Change management and/or employee engagement experience.
