      Role

      Blackstone is seeking a detail-oriented communications professional to join the Communications team that supports the firm’s Technology group. This individual will be based out of Blackstone’s New York office and will be focused on strengthening internal communications to and amongst our employees, overseeing time-sensitive communications across our global offices, organizing town hall events and coordinating external media opportunities, website edits and social media content in partnership with the firm’s Public Affairs & Marketing teams.

      This individual will work closely with stakeholders across the firm – senior leadership, Public Affairs & Marketing, business professionals and cross-business corporate functions, among other colleagues.

      Specific Responsibilities Include

      • Assemble newsletters, draft time-sensitive incident messages and assist with ad hoc communications to Blackstone’s businesses via email, the firm’s intranet website and other channels as needed

      • Work with the firm’s Corporate Affairs team to assemble content/talking points and obtain approvals for external engagements including press releases, articles, case studies, speaking engagements and podcasts

      • Provide PowerPoint presentation support and drive reporting for internal meetings, external engagements and technology-related training initiatives

      • Organize events, town halls and videos – overseeing logistics, talking points and run of show documents

      • Collaborate with our Marketing, Publishing and Website teams to keep internal and external website pages up to date and create new and compelling content for websites and social media platforms

      • Partner closely with our Training team to successfully deploy new products and train colleagues on existing tools by coordinating email launch communications, user guides, videos and training events

      • Manage email distribution tools and measure and analyze internal communication efforts effectiveness against stated goals

      Qualifications

      This individual should have strong storytelling, messaging and internal communications skills and be confident working autonomously and collaboratively. Additional qualifications include:

      • 5+ years of relevant communications experience, preferably in the financial services or technology industry

      • Experience with advising on communications strategy, working with communications tools and analyzing metrics

      • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with close attention to detail

      • Extensive experience with using PowerPoint for design work

      • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects with competing deadlines

      • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills

      • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate effectively with senior leadership and outside contacts

      Expected annual base salary range:

      $90,000 - $150,000

      Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

      Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
