- The Internal Communications Specialist collaborates with the communications team to support business partners across Emory Healthcare
- The Internal Communication Specialist will work with internal functions to develop and implement communication strategies and manage day-to-day employee communication needs
- The ideal candidate has a strong background in writing, editing and adhering to AP Style
- Responsible for communication and promotion in support of: HR, IT, leadership communications and more
- Creates messages and communications that are detailed, accurate and concise, and tailored to the author, vehicle and audience on a range of topics that span departmentwide messaging, meeting presentations, video scripts, key messages and talking points
- Collaborates with others to develop and implement programs and communication materials for targeted audiences that enhance awareness and the utilization of services
- Creates effective promotional materials including articles, brochures, forms and flyers
- This person may also design, coordinate and update the organizational website and related websites to educate and promote activities and programs
- Serves as an internal consultant for communication best practices
- Education - A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field
- Experience - Three years of experience in the development of internal communication, marketing and/or informational materials
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
- Ability to produce and edit videos
- Experience using a content management system
- Additional skills include basic graphic design capabilities, familiarity with communication tools and technology, technical ability to use a content management system for website pages, as well as drafting strategic communication plans
