      As our Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our internal communication strategies, media relations efforts, and public relations initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with our PR and communications team to help shape our narrative, engage with media outlets, and ensure our messages reach our target audience effectively.

      If you have experience in the Media and Communications industry with at least 3 to 4 years experience, have a ‘can do’ attitude, be a strong communicator and have a passion for writing, then this role may be for you!

      What we’re looking for

      Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.

      • Demonstrated communication skills including the ability to be clear, concise and accurate in receiving and conveying information in a wide range of contexts.
      • Demonstrated knowledge of, or a minimum of 3 to 4 years experience in journalism, communications and/or public relations fields.
      • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, including media.
      • Demonstrated problem solving skills including conceptual and analytical ability.
      • Experience in internal and external communications with a proven track record in supporting teams in a high-performing environment.
      • Demonstrate the ability to manage several projects concurrently; demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
      • Demonstrated understanding of engaging digital communication content and platforms. This might include formats such as social media, video and internal digital platforms such as Viva Engage, Microsoft Teams and sharepoint.
