      This is a role based in our new Soho Place office – opened in 2023 - in the heart of Central London and home to our Research Lab.

      The role

      Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, this is a fast-moving and varied role within the Marketing, Communications and Events team at G-Research, and every day is different.

      As the Communications Specialist, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of communications and engagement activities, and assisting the wider Marketing, Communications and Events team with day-to-day operations and logistics.

      We’re a fast-paced and agile business, which means you’ll need to be flexible and adaptive in your approach and confident to ask questions that get to the heart of technical and complex subjects quickly.

      Key responsibilities of the roles include:

      • Supporting the Senior Communications Manager with content creation and sourcing for multiple channels and formats
      • Working with the Events Manager on logistics for our internal events programme – being on-site to help with the delivery of these events
      • Leading on operations and logistics for our internal communications programme, including our CEO Meetups and all-company Town Halls
      • Managing our intranet, including uploading content, page layout and design, and archiving
      • Researching, booking and managing speakers for various talk series
      • Creating employee feedback surveys, deriving key insights and peroting these across the business
      • Supporting with the creation and design of ad hoc presentations, including informational posters
      • Managing purchases, expenses and suppliers
      • Arranging meetings and booking event spaces
      • Providing overarching communications support to the broader Marketing, Communications and Events team

      You’ll have an adaptable mindset, resilient work ethic, the ability to work at pace, enjoy meeting new people and working with cross-functional teams and have a creative streak.

      The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

      • Strong organisational and time management skills
      • Confidence to work with people at all levels in the company
      • Ability to pivot quickly and reprioritise work when things change
      • Capable of juggling multiple projects and priorities
      • Desirable – video experience, including editing
      • Desirable – experience of using design tools, such as Illustrator and Canva
