The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks candidates for the position of Communications/Curriculum Specialist in the Office of the University Registrar (OUR). This position will maintain appropriate controls in order to maintain the integrity of all UNC-CH curricular documents and systems. The Communication/Curriculum Specialist will assist with the design and implementation of new curriculum-related systems, creation and editing of university publications. This position will serve as the editorial liaison between University Registrar units, other campus units, photographers, university offices, and external campus partners in the planning, writing, and/or assembly of publications and thoroughly proofread writing, artwork and proofs for quality and accuracy and ensure that corrections are made. Additionally, this position will help coordinate commencement program delivery on commencement weekend.
Additionally, the Communications/Curriculum Specialist will coordinate the maintenance of the Master Inventory of Programs informing appropriate staff of approved program changes, including changes in program requirements, degree/major/minor titles, and general education requirements. The Communications/Curriculum Specialist will coordinate the correction of all electronic and printed materials regarding the curriculum and assist with the management and maintenance of the related PeopleSoft tables.
The Communications/Curriculum Specialist will assist with the editing of the published Undergraduate Catalog and the Graduate Catalog; serve as a resource to campus on all issues related to curriculum, and perform other duties as assigned.About the company
