      Job summary

      If you have always been interested in a community nursing role with children with chronic and complex health needs, then this may be the post for you- an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our integrated community children's nursing team. The post sits in a well-established CCN team that delivers acute, continuing and complex health care within an integrated child health team. This challenging and rewarding role offers the opportunity to meet the needs of children, young people and their families whilst working alongside Special School Nurses and Consultant Paediatricians.

      Main duties of the job

      We are looking for an enthusiastic forward thinking paediatric nurse ideally with community or paediatric experience, you will be a highly motivated independent practitioner with sound evidence based skills. The post holder will manage a general caseload and provide specialist advice, education and support to health care professionals and patients. You will be responsible for contributing to the on-going service development of the community children's nursing service.
