We are currently recruiting to a Community Consultant Paediatrician position in the Integrated Child Health Service at Gifford House, Thurrock Community Hospital, Long Lane, Grays, RM16 2PX,
This is a new, substantive, full-time POST - 10 PAs with 7.5 DCC and 2.5 SPAs. This post is currently vacant, and we wish to recruit to this post as soon as possible.
You will join another 5wte Consultant Paediatricians, 3.8wte Specialist Grade Doctors, and 1wte Specialty Doctor within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.

You will be expected to:
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children and young people across South West Essex.
Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals
Participate in the local Child Protection rota
Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
Work alongside 5wte Consultant Paediatricians, 3.8wte Specialist Grade Doctors, and 1wte Specialty Doctor within the service
Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
