What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess community needs in Monterey County to identify and support vulnerable populations
- Identify local partner organizations providing services related to food insecurity, housing, and health
- Work with American Red Cross staff to integrate partnerships into planning, readiness, response, and recovery activities
- Support the implementation of Community Adaptation initiatives by convening partners and supporting engagement
- Support the collection of required grant management and partner engagement data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Community Education, or related field
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience in outcomes-based social services environment
- Demonstrated familiarity with climate adaptation/resilience strategies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Spanish speaking preferred
