Job Summary:
Leads the development and implementation of programs, partnerships and strategies of the health systems Community Engagement programs. Performance is directed towards leading and facilitating all Community Engagement communications and publications with internal and external stakeholders.
Establishes and maintains a collaborative process to calculate, analyze and interpret data for reporting purposes to various constituencies including the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), internal audiences and the community.
Maintains current knowledge of national Community Benefit practices and trends to accurately account for Community Benefit activities with current IRS, AHA, WHA, ACHI and health system definitions.
Serves as the administrator with the reporting software (CBISA) which tracks community benefit activity and costs.
Coordinates and implements programs and tactics related to Froedtert Health's Community Health Improvement Plan, Strategic Plan, and Population Health efforts.
Works directly with Community Engagement Leadership to coordinate/implement new community engagement opportunities/partnerships in current or expanding Froedtert Health markets in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Represent health system on community coalitions/boards/partnerships that address identified community health needs.
Assist Community Engagement Leadership in the process to execute the Community Health Needs Assessment every three years for Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha Counties.
Working with health system colleagues and community partners, assists in the development of the implementation strategies for Froedtert Health markets in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Assists with the development and publication of community engagement stories for community reports, Froedtert in Action, and external publications. Actively solicits and collects community engagement stories and data from health system and aligned community partners.
Works directly with Community Engagement Leadership to plan and produce content for system publications.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of seven years of experience in communications, public health, healthcare administration, health education is required.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Healthcare, Business, Public Health or Health Promotion/Education related field is required.
