- Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities.
- Works with director to determine current needs for program.
- Ensure implementation of policies and procedures.
- Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions.
- Manage communication through media relations, social media, etc
- Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda.
- Support growth and program development.
- Direct and supervise all staff and their responsibilities.
- Compose scheduling for childwatch attendants
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and experiences.
- Responsible for ensuring the safety of all children.
- Ensure the individual needs of the children are met
- Ensure proper coordination of the program.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- College Degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
- One to two years related experience preferred, as a coordinator of people or related activity.
- Ability to use typical business software and office equipment.
- Understanding of the role of volunteerism within the YMCA.
- Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications.
