      This position coordinates development, planning, implementation, communications, evaluation and maintenance of the community health programs, outreach and community relations and partnerships (including PowerUp, Make It OK, Little Moments Count, Teen Leadership Council, CHNA and other key community relationships and initiatives). This position focuses on coordinating programs and communications, through in-person and virtual environments and with internal and external stakeholders.

      Work Schedule: Primarily M-F business hours, with evenings and weekends on a regular basis

      Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree preferably with a major in Communications, Community or Public Health, Community Relations, Health and Well-being Promotion, or related field.
      • 2+ years of experience in communications, community relations, community health or outreach and events (through paid, volunteer or intern positions)
      • Experience with communications through digital programs and platforms (website, social media, email and newsletter platforms) that support effective program implementation.
      • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet all criteria required under Lakeview’s Automobile Liability Guidelines with access to personal vehicle for driving between office and community locations throughout the St. Croix Valley and Twin Cities area.
      • Superior organizational skills with ability to coordinate multiple projects, while communicating effectively with team members and program managers
      • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, collaborative, and complex environment, coordinating multiple priorities, deadlines and partners.
      • Superior verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
      • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, with excellent follow-through regarding partnership expectations.
      • Actively listens to multiple perspectives to build a comprehensive understanding of issues surrounding diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
      • Proficient in digital tools and platforms such as Eventbrite, website management systems (e.g., Wix, WordPress), and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp)
      • Ability to lift 50 pounds and be very physically active; will be loading, unloading and delivering materials to community partners and assisting with event set up and tear down.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (or similar design software) for creating visual materials and resources.
      • Experience with health care, youth programs and/or volunteer management
      • Interest in health promotion program evaluation
