      Hourly base pay rate is $21.06 - $31.63/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

      This is a great position for someone interested in learning broadly about corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community impact because the role will assist with communications and logistics for both community partner events and research around internal practices.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Corporate Giving and Sponsorships:
        • Maintain community events calendar
        • Partner with corporate communications and brand and marketing team to develop messaging and sponsor ads for Cox-sponsored fall programs and events
      • Community partnerships:
        • Research partnership opportunities to align with Cox’s social impact goal and community strategy of solving STEAM and environmental challenges for underserved communities. Provide recommendations to the community engagement teams
        • Provide logistical and communications support for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Events team, and community partners for campus events
      • Nonprofit Board program:
        • Research best practices and tools for tracking board engagements
        • Identify opportunities to integrate tracking within Cox’s existing platforms
      • Employee engagement:
        • Assist with reviewing and maintaining giving opportunities on Cox Impact tied to strategically aligned partners and volunteer projects
        • Provide support for Atlanta volunteer events as needed

      Who You Are

      • Currently enrolled in a related degree program such as Project Management, Sustainability, Management and Information Systems, Business Administration and/or related field.
      • Internship positions are located in Atlanta, Ga.; Cox Enterprises does not provide a housing allowance.
      • Efficient executor and team player.
      • Able to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high-quality deliverables.

      Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
