      The Office
      The mission of the Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs (OIRA) is to improve the lives of Seattle’s immigrant and refugee families. The Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs centers racial equity and community engagement in its work and seeks candidates who are committed to these values.

      The Job
      The Immigrant Safety and Access Network (ISAN) program’s goals are to establish a network and cohort of community-based organizations and people who provide support for immigrant and refugee families who experience disproportionate harm from violence. If you understand the challenges that immigrants and refugees face and are motivated to keep them safe and help them navigate difficult situations and get access to needed resources, please apply for OIRA’s Community Outreach and Resource Navigator position.We are looking for applicants who have:
      • Lived experience or have built trust and authentic relationships within immigrant and refugee communities.
      • Evaluated policy and made recommendations based on short and long-term analysis.
      • Listened intentionally and facilitated meetings tackling complex topics to find solutions.
      • Communicated empathetically in-person, and via digital, and virtual platforms.
      • Developed and implemented community outreach strategies that engage and build relationships with the community, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
      • Showcased an ability to maintain strong relationships with community groups and other relevant stakeholders.
      • Experience building cross-organization capacity to improve coordination and delivery of immigrant and refugee services.
      • Thoughtfully advised senior leaders and elected officials on immigrant and refugee issues.
      • Managed consultants, their contracts and invoicing.

This position is classified as a Strategic Advisor 1, Human Services and is exempt from overtime. The full salary range for this position is $43.89 - $65.83 per hour. The identified salary for this role is $96,904.08 ($46.51/hr based on 2088 hours).

      This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Employees will be expected to be in-office twice a week. Individual schedules will be based on agreement between the employee and their supervisor.

      At times, this job will include the need to be able to travel to meetings with short notice, at night, and on weekends.
