  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Develop, facilitate, and implement outreach activities, special events, programs, and presentations for member education and health plan awareness
  - Manage on-site event staffing and handle problems or emergencies during events
  - Coordinate logistics for events, including space reservation, catering, communications, and materials distribution
  - Maintain a calendar of community events to assist with community and member awareness
  - Build and maintain relationships with community organizations for event sponsorship
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - 3-5 years of experience in community outreach and/or event planning
  - 3-5 years of previous experience with Medicaid
  - Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  - Must reside in Shreveport, Louisiana
  - Ability to travel 75% of the time within Shreveport, Monroe, and surrounding parishes

  - Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  - Excellent organizational and time management skills
  - Highly skilled in relationship building and maintenance
  - Ability to work independently, including during travel
