What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop training curriculums for state and local grantees
- Create tools and guidance for community planning and fair housing challenges
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and manage project deliverables
- Build and maintain relationships with government clients
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and partners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree + 12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree + 10 years of relevant experience, or PhD + 8 years of relevant experience
- Deep knowledge of HUD grantees’ obligation to affirmatively further fair housing
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience working with local or state government on housing or community planning
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with HUD programs such as CDBG, HOME, and homeless programs
- Knowledge of program regulations and compliant implementation
