      Salary: $17/hour

      WORK SCHEDULE: Tuesday – Thursday 3:00 – 9:00pm & Saturdays 7:00 am – 5:00pm based on business needs.

      OVERVIEW:

      Under general supervision, supports the United Way Community Resource Center (CRC) operations by performing meeting room setup and breakdown, including audio visual (AV) equipment and minor technical troubleshooting.

      PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Responsible for overseeing the Community Resource Center (CRC) operations for evening and Saturday events.
      • Set up meeting rooms tables and chairs according to the event work orders.
      • Ensures conference rooms and A/V are properly set up and broken down for all meetings.
      • Prints and assists with administrative duties as needed.
      • Updates conference center monitor to ensure guests of correct meeting location. Orients meeting representatives to CRC policies and procedures.
      • Oversees check-in/check-out of groups. Submits work orders to facilities management for any maintenance or janitorial needs.
      • Provides customer service for the CRC business center.

      Qualifications

      Education

      Preferred

      High School

      Experience

      Required 1 year

      Demonstrated experience setting up, taking down, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment. Demonstrated ability to move and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and podiums independently or with use of moving aides, i.e., dolly, cart, etc. Must possess excellent customer service skills.
