Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Overnight District Nursing Service within CTMUHB covering the whole footprint.
The applicant must be a Registered Nurse, be confident and competent in a wide range of clinical skills and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.
There is a requirement for a flexible approach to work and an ability to travel between sites in a timely manner.
Main duties of the job
There are multiple demands in this exciting role due to the challenging nature of providing care for patients outside of the hospital environment. during out of hours .
The post-holder will however find themselves well supported by a very friendly and enthusiastic team of staff.
The post is initially based with the overnight a District Nursing Team in Ysbyty Cwm Cynon, however will be expected to cover across 3 allocated geographical zones overnight.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 3 months due to secondment cover. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
