      Job summary

      The Therapeutic Interventions for Distressing Unusual Experiences Service (TIDES) is a brand-new team working therapeutically with young people across Norfolk & Waveney. The team is part of the Early Intervention in Psychosis service and aims to help young people at risk of developing psychosis, known as an at-risk mental state. We are seeking a Community Team Manager to join the existing team on a full time basis for a six month secondment.

      You'll be joining a diverse team including registered nurses, social workers, vocational workers, psychologists, therapists, clinical support workers and dedicated admin to name a few! This is a predominantly managerial position but there will be the opportunity for you to undertake some clinical work, such as assessments and triaging.

      Main duties of the job

      The role of Community Team Manager is really important to the ongoing success of our service; this post will provide you with the opportunity to develop and work within a specialist MDT setting, you'll be able to support individual staff with developing their performance in their clinical work, as well as supporting with safeguarding and quality assurance.

      We're looking for a dynamic individual with excellent leadership skills to work innovatively and confidently! It is an exciting time to join NSFT as we commit to developing strong clinical leads as part of our strategy. You'll have a thorough induction and locally we can offer you the opportunity to join monthly CPD sessions covering a variety of topics.

      We are looking for a enthusiastic leader who is creative with innovative ideas and passion towards providing excellent care. You will need to take responsibility for decisions and support junior members of the team. Communication is key. We are looking for someone who can communicate in a professional manner with a wide spectrum of people to achieve the best outcome. You must believe in Service User and Carer engagement in all aspects of care delivery and be someone who has the confidence in their own conviction.
