- Research appropriate job descriptions
- Reviewing and evaluating compensation programs regularly
- Ensure internal and external compensation philosophy alignment
- Review job classification and recommend compensation changes within company policy and budgetary limitations
- Interpret state and federal laws regulating compensation practices
- Support all compensation special requests and emergent project work
- Brief and educate supervision and salaried employees on compensation policies and practices
- Building consensus with Sr. Leadership on compensation initiatives and developing a strategic roadmap for implementation
- Support the compensation cycle including but not limited to:
- Merit: pay for performance
- Targeted discretionary salary allocations
- Bonus and incentive allocations
- Individual contributor reclassification promotions
- BA/BS Degree
- 2+ years of experience in HR, Wage Administration or Finance
Degree concentration in Human Resources, Finance, or Business preferred
2+ years’ salary compensation administration at a mid to large organization
5 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Experience working with an HRIS system; Peoplesoft
- Demonstrated MS Office suite proficiency with priority on advanced Excel skills including:
- Creating and analyzing pivot tables and charts
- Functions such as vlookup and other formulas
- Translation of large data sets into meaningful summarized output
- Experience administering bonus and incentive programs
- Ability to identify and analyze trends both internal and within related compensation and talent markets as they relate to compensation
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills are necessary, as this position requires significant peer and customer interface with all levels of management

Overview
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and administration of compensation procedures, practices, philosophy, and programs. The selected candidate will utilize salary surveys to study labor markets and determine competitive compensation for approximately 11,000+ salaried employees.
