      Northrop Grumman is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join the Enterprise Compensation Administration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing compensation support for broad-based compensation, recognition and incentive plans, compensation analytics and tools, and project management of large-scale enterprise initiatives.

      This position is located at our corporate office headquarters in Falls Church, VA, however, we will consider other locations for internal applicants.

      Responsibilities may include:

      • Assisting with the administration of Northrop Grumman’s compensation framework and philosophy across all functions and levels within the organization

      • Collaborating with compensation colleagues and HR partners to provide guidance on compensation-related initiatives and/or updates

      • Development and delivery of compensation training, resources and communications in support of business and HR strategies

      • Developing reoccurring and ad-hoc compensation reports, analytics or metrics tracking to inform business decisions

      • Supporting compensation system implementations, upgrades and conversions using standard system requirements and test scripts

      • Supporting the annual merit and incentive planning process

      • Participating in annual compensation surveys and market pricing analysis

      • Assist in enterprise-wide project management, program initiatives or data analysis where appropriate

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field of study with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; OR a Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study OR an additional 4 years of stated experience in lieu of degree

      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint

      • Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and chart creation

      • Ability to multi-task, prioritize based on business needs, and work well within a fast-paced, project-focused environment

      • Ability to clearly communicate data and information using effective presentation skills, both verbally and visually

      • Ability to work in a team environment while also being able to work independently with limited oversight

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Demonstrated experience in project management and coordination across multiple departments

      • Demonstrated experience supporting change management activities associated with large-scale initiatives

      • Working knowledge of Workday business processes and functionality

      Salary Range: $70,600.00 - $105,800.00

      The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

      Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
