      Weu2019re looking for a sharp, resourceful, and detail-oriented Competitive Intelligence Engineer to join our Egnyte team. In this role, you will monitor, identify, and analyze competitor market trends, threats, strategies, and product features to turn them into actionable intelligence insights for strategic planning, marketing, sales, and product development at Egnyte.

      WHAT YOUu2019LL DO:

      • Monitor competitor websites, press releases, product updates, patent filings, earnings calls, and other publications, including relevant forums and customer voice sites.
      • Subscribe to and analyze industry reports, journals, and news.
      • Evaluate and compare competitor product features, pricing strategies, customer feedback, and market positioning, including changes.
      • Identify emerging market trends and potential threats or opportunities.u00A0u00A0
      • Create and distribute intelligence reports and assets that emphasize insights rather than merely providing information.u00A0
      • Present findings in a clear and actionable manner that helps decision-makers understand product differentiation (positive and negative)
      • Collaborate with teams across the organization to integrate intelligence insights into strategic planning, marketing, sales, and product development.
      • Present competitive positioning information on sales calls as needed.
      • Report to the Director of Competitive Intelligence .

      YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Experience in competitive intelligence, market research, strategy, or product marketing .
      • IT background u00A0 or fundamental knowledge of technology including data security, AI/ML or content management solutions .
      • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize large volumes of information.
      • Ability to collect and s ynthesize complex market and competitor information into clear, concise intelligence reports and presentations.

      COMPENSATION:

      • Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this positionu00A0across the U.S. is $110k - $130k annually. Payu00A0varies by work locationu00A0and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge,u00A0and/or experience. During the interview and/or hiring process, your recruiter can share more information about the compensation package specific to the role and job location.
