What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with all departments to manage departmental and cross-departmental projects
- Assist with security governance and compliance tasks, including process and policy reviews, tests, and audits
- Engage with vendors for compliance and security reviews
- Maintain and complete tasks independently while picking up new technologies quickly
- Contribute to a positive and accountable workplace culture
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to manage and complete tasks independently
- Technical skills related to security compliance
- Experience with security certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and StateRAMP
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a compliance or governance risk and compliance (GRC) role
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Previous work in a technology-focused environment
- Advanced security certifications beyond the basics
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
