      Job Summary

      This position is responsible for supporting the compliance and regulatory process for the business unit. This includes compliance reviews for access requests through the ID Badges department, subject to NERC CIP, FERC, TSA and 810 CFR. They will also monitor NERC CIP compliance primarily related to physical security systems and processes. This includes analytical projects for continuous improvement, data extraction and technical/financial subject matter. While supporting the business unit, they will be responsible for compiling, monitoring and analyzing performance metrics towards achievement of scorecard metrics. This includes reviewing and revising documentation for presentations and training. They will research compliance issues and prepare regulatory reporting documents and evidence. Including, supporting and monitoring remediation plans.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Produce analytical reviews of access requests for areas that are subject to NERC CIP, FERC, TSA, 810 CFR and Sarbanes Oxley and NJ BPU regulations
      • Responsible for supporting compliance and regulatory processes, to include analyzing and monitoring compliance with NERC-CIP and other regulations, primarily related to physical security systems and processes, including conducting hardware and software audits of all support systems to ensure compliance
      • Work on analytical projects including continuous improvement, Data extraction, Technical/Financial review and analysis
      • Plan, organize and present NERC/CIP and other regulatory compliance information to all audience levels including regulatory auditors; as well as coordinate and facilitate Request For Information by regulators
      • Conduct monthly virtual inspections of the SCC operations via CCTV review to include producing analytical reports for Security Command Center operations, Operator activity and Monthly Alarm reports
      • Compiling, monitoring and analyzing performance metrics towards achievement of scorecard targets
      • Reviewing and revising documentation, preparation of presentations and training related to Regulatory guidence and/or Security Command Operations

      Job Specific Qualifications

      Required

      • Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience or, in lieu of a degree, 8 years of relevant work experience
      • Experience with Security Systems (access control, CCTV, alarm response AMAG and Genetec)
      • Experience with NERC CIP and TSA regulations
      • Must be able to be meet requirements for 810 and NERC CIP
      • Must posess a valid US driver's license

      Desired

      • Degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or related area
      • Experience using relational databases (such as SQL Server, Oracle, Access)
      • An ideal candidate would have experience in the Energy or Utility industry, experience supporting a 24 x 7 real time operations environment and/or experience supporting systems
