      Northrop Grumman Corporation is seeking a Compliance and Ethics Investigator supporting enterprise-wide internal investigations. The position reports to the Ethics and Business Conduct organization and is responsible for conducting investigations of suspected internal fraud, waste, and abuse. The investigator is responsible for conducting extremely sensitive, complex and often time-critical investigations with minimal disruption to the business. This individual must work well under pressure, have strong conflict management skills, exercise sound judgment, and clearly document and articulate investigative findings, influencing corrective actions and changes within the organization.

      The investigator will routinely interface with multiple functions including but not limited to Legal, Internal Audit, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Business Management, Security and all levels of program management. Experience in the government/defense industry and knowledge of FAR, DFAR and mandatory disclosure a plus.

      This position may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications below.

      Basic Qualifications Level 3:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resources and a minimum of 6 years relevant professional investigation experience. (4 additional years of education and/or experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement)
      • At least 5 years of experience in investigations, business management, law enforcement, or related field.
      • Experience with fraud, waste, and abuse investigations
      • US citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance

      Basic Qualifications Level 4:

      • At least 5 years of experience in investigations, business management, law enforcement, or related field.
      • Experience with fraud, waste, and abuse investigations
      • US citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Experience in government/defense contracting and knowledge of FAR, DFA, and mandatory disclosure is a plus
      • Active Security clearance is preferred

      Salary Range: $84,600.00 - $127,000.00Salary Range 2: $104,900.00 - $157,300.00

      The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

      Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
