Crew Planning is a function within our airline organisation responsible for the production and onward management of all Flight and Cabin Crew Training plans and Rosters. The Standards and Compliance team are responsible for ensuring that all regulatory requirements and controls are met both in the planning and operational windows for TUI Northern Region.

      As the Compliance Assistant, your focus will be tracking the Crew Planning team are compliant to mandatory and departmental training requirements and Crew Rosters are in-line with the latest CAA and EASA regulations and to ensure they are fully compliant. Working in conjunction with other members of the Standards and Compliance team and liaising with key stakeholders across the Airline directorate you’ll be responsible for both identifying issues and rectifying those issues.

      In this role, you’ll report to the Compliance Specialist.

      This role is part time, equating to 26.25 hours per week. We are flexible as to how these hours will be carried out and are also happy to consider the role on a hybrid workind model basis with an average of 2 days in the office per week once all training is complete.

      ABOUT THE JOB

      As the Compliance Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:

      • Supporting the Compliance Specialist with all regulatory requirements across the Crew Planning practices, systems and procedures
      • Updating relevant systems so all crew records are correctly reflected for the operational teams
      • Quality checks against automated systems to ensure accuracy
      • Identify and escalate Crew Planning compliance risks
      • Respond to Crew Planning compliance related queries from internal and external stakeholders
      • Maintaining the Crew Planning Training Matrix to ensure all team members have received the correct level of training.

      ABOUT YOU

      • Excellent attention to accuracy and detail
      • Highly motivated, determined and organized individual
      • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to contribute effectively to both online and in-person meetings
      • Prior knowledge of Airline Flight Limitations schemes and/or EASA regulatory framework an advantage but not essential
      • Ability to work both as part of a team and individually
      • Able to prioritise workload and manage your time to deliver to deadlines
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Powerpoint
      • Role requires strong business English, both spoken and written.
