      DHL Air (Austria) GmbH is a new cargo airline founded in 2021 and is a subsidiary of DHL Group. The prime focus of the airline is to operate for the EU network with a fleet of Boeing 757/767 aircraft.       YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Conducting audits and inspections
      • Conducting follow-up of the findings
      • Analysing causes of substandard performance (if any) in Flight Operations and Crew Training Department
      • Providing feedback on the performance of the compliance system in Flight Operations and Crew Training to the Accountable Manager, Compliance Monitoring Manager, Nominated Person Flight operations and Nominated Person Crew Training

      YOUR TASKS:

      • Conducting internal audits in the areas of Flight Operations and Crew Training
      • Conducting reviews of Operations Manuals
      • Conducting audits of ATO providers
      • Conducting risk analysis and monitoring the risk profile of Flight Operations based on audit findings and other relevant inputs
      • Performing risk assessments of contracted organisations
      • Follow up of findings in IQSMS
      • Conducting compliance training for Flight OPS and Crew Training Department
      • Initiating improvements to checklists and other compliance materials, documentation and process descriptions
      • Ensuring continuous improvement (e.g. training inputs) resulting from non-conformances and corrective actions
      • Prepares and
      • Exercising a Web Manuals Administrator function
      • Exercising an IQSMS administrator function
      • Preparing and analysing reports and statistics in Power BI
      • Participating in cross-functional projects and initiatives
      • Liasion with external bodies and stakeholders such as the Civil Aviation Authority (ACG), EASA, SACA/SAFA publishers and DHL Aviation
      • Reviews of aviation legislation updates

      YOUR PROFILE:

      • Completed university studies and several years of relevant professional experience
      • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
      • Excellent language skills, fluent in English, German optional
      • Comprehensive understanding of the European Aviation Safety Regulatory Framework and IOSA requirements
      • Understanding of flight operations processes, operations control and dispatch
      • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety and quality/compliance standards and safe operating practices
      • Extensive knowledge of:
        • The applicable EU safety regulations and all associated requirements and procedures
        • The AOC holder`s operating specifications; and
        • The need for and content of the relevant parts of the AOC holder`s Operations Manual
        • Familiarity wit management systems, preferably in the aviation industry
      • Auditor training and specific knowledge of audits (EASA/IOSA)
      • Training in risk assessment
      • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
      • Social and communication skills
      • Ability to work independently and under pressure
      • Good knowledge of IT applications (MS Office, IQSMS, web manuals)
      • Analytical, assertive and persuasive skills
      • Respectful behaviour and excellent rhetorical skills
      • EU citizenship, or Residence and Work Permit for Austria
