What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct internal compliance audits for all subsidiaries and business lines, as well as external partner relationships
- Develop specialized initiatives with cross-departmental teams based on audit reports and statistics
- Present audit findings and risk assessments to Meduit’s Compliance Risk and Audit Committee
- Collaborate with Compliance team members and other business lines on additional projects
- Stay updated on federal and state laws through legal research and industry educational opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA, audit certification, or 2 years of experience in a compliance and/or auditing environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Office Suite for report preparation
- Strong writing skills for regular reporting requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in an office or supporting role for a call center or collection agency
- Knowledge of FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA, and HIPAA regulations
- A natural curiosity and desire to dig into data and research new topics
