      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform pre-and post-billing chart reviews to ensure compliance with coverage requirements and regulations
      - Communicate reportable findings to the Compliance/Legal Department to mitigate risks
      - Inform care center locations/divisions and leadership about audit findings and corrective action plans
      - Prepare accurate and timely executive summaries of audit findings and coordinate provider education sessions
      - Provide feedback to enhance company policies and documentation systems

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential with a minimum of three years of medical coding experience
      - Valid and current coding certification must be maintained
      - OB/GYN experience preferred along with certifications such as Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) or Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Coder (COBGC)
      - Experience in surgical coding is a plus
      - Minimum educational requirement: bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Related nursing degree
      - Additional coding certifications in areas relevant to OB/GYN practices
      - Experience with compliance auditing in a healthcare setting
      - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
      - Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations
