Job Description
- Req#: R-4074
- File-based editing in Adobe Premiere to compliance reports and channels’ technical specifications.
- Entering IDs, time codes and metadata into scheduling system.
- Complete video editing for long form format (films and tv) to ensure content meets compliance and channel standards.
- Review compliance report to identify the scenes that need to be edited.
- Locate source file on the central storage and watch content in real time for Quality Control and make notes of any technical issues which can not be fixed.
- Report any video/audio quality issues to the relevant Ops Manager so a replacement file can be requested.
- Look for suitable evenly distributed commercial break points.
- Edit according to compliance report and to clock (ie max 24mins/half hour; 48 mins/hour).
- Enter TC and Metadata into scheduling system.
- Experienced video editor.
- Adobe Premiere experience.
- Compliance Editing experience (desirable)
- Experience entering data in an Asset Management System.
- Able to maintain focus for long perods and ensure accuracy.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Able to work with autonomy but seek guidance where needed.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment to contribute to the overall success of the department.
- Unflappable nature with the ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.

The Role
Compliance Editors work to ensure on-air content meets channel compliance and quality standards, through compliance editing.
You will technically QC video files, edit films/TV shows in line with compliance recommendations and necessary reformatting for transmission.
This is a fixed term role for one year.

This role is based in the UK and working from our offices in Soho (2 days per week) and remotely from home for 3 days.
