What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Interpret new or existing laws, rules, and regulations impacting mortgage lending and servicing
- Act as a liaison between business units and regulatory bodies during compliance examinations
- Analyze policies and procedures to identify compliance gaps and provide necessary guidance
- Develop reports for management on compliance reviews and legal changes
- Maintain expertise in current laws and regulations affecting the mortgage industry

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Audit, Banking, or related fields, OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in the same areas
- Strong understanding of mortgage compliance and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with business partners and regulatory bodies
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex legal documents
- Ability to stay updated with changing laws and regulations in the mortgage sector

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional experience in mortgage compliance or mortgage banking
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) certification
