Supports certain businesses in tracking employee updates, outstanding certifications, and compliance requirements.
Maintains a complete archive of reports and documentations.
Assists in responding to employee’s questions regarding code of ethics policies and procedures.
This is an entry level position that provides opportunity to learn and contribute to some of the company’s key areas of focus; Policy, Ethics and Compliance.
You will have opportunity to add value in Compliance functions which includes the governance of Corporate Policies and Conflicts Controls.
S&P Global Policies and procedures outline prudent, ethical business practices within the construct of an evolving global regulatory environment. The S&P Global policies help us protect our operational and reputational requirements while seeking to mitigate overall franchise risks.
The Compliance Associate position is necessary in order that we remain adequately resourced and are empowered to function effectively in a high volume and ever-changing regulatory environment.
The Compliance Associate will participate with the Compliance team as they enhance policies and procedures and create more formalized documentation, controls monitoring and testing.
Respond to employee inquiries from compliance related mailboxes and build and create and maintain frequently asked question documentation.
Assist with the build-out and maintenance of customized policies and procedure manuals.
Coordinate with the Compliance Policy Officer and the enterprise learning exchange for the creation and maintenance of policy and training calendars.
Join in monitoring activities, including some testing of portions of the Compliance program to ensure Compliance program effectiveness.
Work with the team to evaluate, integrate, and automate reporting and metrics to identify and highlight key insights into compliance efforts.
Annual and ongoing administration of the S&P Global Code of Business Ethics.
Gathering and providing data to drive completion of the Code of Business Ethics.
Gathering and providing data to drive completion for all other related policy trainings.
Interest in global work and be able to work effectively with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Strong computer skills, including excel, and ability to work with large data sets.
Experience drafting and finalization of procedural documentation.
Communicator, verbal and written, with the ability to influence and challenge across all levels within the organization.
Prior experience in a legal, compliance, audit or other operations function is valued.
Highly motivated and organized.
Ability to effectively transition between individual contribution and team effort.

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $66,344 to $116,411. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
