What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct investigations and audits into alleged violations of state real estate laws and regulations
- Gather and analyze evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare detailed reports
- Testify on behalf of the agency during administrative or judicial proceedings
- Collaborate with legal teams to prepare cases for hearings and court actions
- Perform various tasks assigned by department leadership to support departmental goals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Thorough understanding of state real estate laws, licensing requirements, and industry standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret contracts, legal documents, and financial statements
- Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Possession of a valid state-issued driver license appropriate to the assignment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Real estate license (preferred but not required)
- Experience in conducting investigations or audits in a regulatory environment
- Familiarity with Arizona Revised Statutes and administrative codes related to real estate
- Previous work experience in government or compliance roles
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders
