What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review Monthly and Annual reports for compliance with housing program requirements
- Train on-site staff and conduct annual reviews and physical inspections of properties
- Perform confirmation and comparison checks on income, assets, and verification requirements
- Attend and participate in training workshops to enhance knowledge and skills
- Ensure properties adhere to Section 42, Federal, and State program regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of housing program regulations, including Section 42 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit
- Proven experience in conducting inspections and reviews of housing properties
- Excellent analytical skills to review financial documents and reports
- Ability to travel 6 to 10 business days a month for site inspections
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Florida Housing programs such as MMRB, SAIL, HOME, NHTF, and CDBG
- Background in training and development of on-site staff
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the housing sector
