Job Description
- Req#: req32505
- Experience within a compliance officer role or within a similar setting
- Solid problem-solving abilities, sound negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of customers including their professional representatives
- Ability to interpret financial records to identify relevant information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing clear correspondence and accurate reports
- The ability to interpret and apply legislation
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
Compliance Support Officer, Multiple Ongoing roles, Parramatta location with hybrid working.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Compliance Support Officers to join our Business Taxes team within Revenue NSW. You will be responsible for customer interactions for all tax products on behalf of the NSW Government.
You will undertake assessments, revenue collection, enquiries and client education services.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic and well organised person who can maintain confidentiality at all times. You will also be conducting quality audits and compliance checks effectively and efficiently, to ensure business compliance with NSW legislation. Your accuracy, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines will ensure your success in this role.
This role will suit anyone who has previous experience in a similar role or who has accounting skills and or qualifications.
