A Composite Manufacturing Intern is needed for supporting the development of production processes as well as taking product design to production. This individual will support the production of composite assemblies and tooling. Responsibilities Develop and implement assembly processes for airframe hardware. Provide production support to technicians and leads. Document manufacturing processes and work instructions. Disposition non-conforming parts, identify root cause, and implement corrective and/or preventive action to reduce scrap and rework. Design shop aids and tooling to assist production. Initiate and lead lean manufacturing process improvement projects. Identify and assist in addressing manufacturing issues on the production floor. Required Required. A minimum of three (3) years progress towards BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering at an accredited university.
