      Job Title: Composite/Integration Technician

      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled Composite/Integration Technician for our composite team in Santa Ana, CA. This is a day shift position, from 6am to 2:30pm, with pay based on experience typically $25-$31 with option to go higher with the right experience.. Overtime available daily and on weekends.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform precision drilling, reaming, and fastening using aerospace fasteners such as Hi-Lock, Hi-Lines, CherryMax, and other structural rivets.
      • Sand, trim, and bond carbon and metallic assemblies using various adhesives and resins.
      • Execute precise drilling and installation of various sizes of fasteners.
      • Utilize sanding techniques with different resins and materials.
      • Interpret and work from drawings, MBIs, and blueprints to meet exact specifications.
      • Collaborate with teams, NDT, and quality teams to resolve non-conformances and enhance processes.
      • Assist in final assembly.
      • Read and interpret work instructions and work orders.
      • Prepare and maintain mold surfaces.
      • Kit composite materials.
      • Perform lamination of pre-preg and wet lay-up composite materials.
      • Assemble molds to produce conforming composite structures.
      • Conduct vacuum bagging operations for large composite structures.
      • Complete trimming operations with close tolerances using fixtures and various hand tools.
      • Perform composite lamination using VRTM & RTM techniques.
      • Conduct composite lamination using wet layup techniques.
      • Lamination of complex structures using smart tooling techniques.

      Essential Skills

      • Experience in the aerospace industry, military, or other high-reliability operating environments.
      • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in composite structure assembly, ideally within aerospace or high-performing manufacturing.
      • Proficiency in carbon fiber prepreg layup and post-cure trimming.
      • Ability to interpret blueprints.
      • Skill in reading and interpreting work instructions and work orders.
      • Competence in mold surface preparation and maintenance.
      • Experience in composite material kitting.
      • Ability to perform lamination of pre-preg and wet lay-up composite materials.
      • Experience in assembling molds to yield conforming composite structures.
      • Skill in vacuum bagging operations for large composite structures.
      • Expertise in trimming operations yielding close tolerances using fixtures and various hand tools.
      • Proficiency in composite lamination using VRTM & RTM techniques.
      • Skill in composite lamination using wet layup techniques.
      • Experience in laminating complex structures using smart tooling techniques.

      • Assembly and integration skills.
      • Mechanical and fabrication skills.
      • Proficiency in drilling and use of hand tools.
      • Familiarity with electrical wiring.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $64480.00/yr.
