      Salary/Grade:

      $43,000 - $50,000

      Job Summary:

      Regional IT Support – Hamilton Campus: Computer and Tech Specialist to provide technical assistance to faculty, staff and students and provide campus network assistance at Miami Universities Regional Campuses (Hamilton, Middletown, and Voice of America Learning Center).

      Duties/Physical Demands:

      The Computer and Tech Specialist will provide support for computer classroom, faculty, and staff; maintain printing capabilities for faculty, staff and students; repair technology equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, digital signs, and audio-visual equipment in classrooms; install & troubleshoot Windows & Apple operating systems along with applications; operate network server application tools to assist in repair and management of computers and printers; provide hardware and software training to faculty, staff and students; verify and maintain inventory assets, including recycled equipment.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      Required: Bachelor's degree with experience in a variety of computer operations systems or, an associate's degree and three years’ experience in technology services field to include experience in a variety of computer operations systems or vocational/technical school degree (post high school) and three years’ experience in technology services field to include experience in a variety of computer operations systems.

      Desired Qualifications:

      Consideration may be given to candidates with knowledge of setting up printers on the network; basic network server knowledge and proficient troubleshooting skills.
