WHO WE ARE
We are seeking a Sr Computer Operator who will monitor and operates electronic digital computers to process business, scientific, engineering, or other data according to operating instructions.

THE WORK
On a daily basis, the Sr. Computer Operator:
• Monitors and operates electronic digital computers to process various types of data, including business, scientific, and engineering, following specific operating instructions.
• Sets control switches to ensure the correct use of peripheral equipment.
• Adjusts switches to clear systems and operate machinery.
• Selects and loads input and output units with materials like tapes and printout forms.
• Monitors equipment and control panels for operator messages or error indicators,
• Sets up and runs diagnostic tests, and responds appropriately to messages, reporting errors or machine malfunctions as necessary.
• May also handle clerical tasks related to machine operations such as labeling tape containers, maintaining production records, restocking specified items, and distributing output materials.
• Often operates peripheral equipment for operations like tape-to-printer and takes corrective action as directed by a supervisor. The role may involve working with multiple systems.

Typical Minimums :
High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 1 Year of experience.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $35,900 - $68,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
